Janet Fisher Joins Publishers Communication Group as Senior Publishing Consultant

Cambridge, MA, USA January 5, 2005

Publishers Communication Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Janet Fisher to the newly developed position of Senior Publishing Consultant. In this role, Janet will work with PCG clients to assess marketing and sales needs of their electronic content including:

  • Product positioning and reaching new markets
  • New product launch strategies
  • Product usability and awareness studies
  • Electronic publishing ROI programs
  • Bundling and pricing studies for new market segments

Janet is moving to PCG from Ingenta where she has served as Director, US Client Management for the past two years. In that role, she advised publishers on their online strategies and product development, working with publishers such as McGraw-Hill, Duke University Press, The World Bank, Modern Language Association, and American Statistical Association. Prior to joining Ingenta, Janet served as the Associate Director of Journals at the MIT Press as well as Journals Director at the University of Texas Press.
