PCG appoints new sales representative to support the growth of University of California Press' European business

Oxford, UK, February 26, 2008

Publishers Communication Group (PCG), the leading provider of market intelligence and sales services to the scholarly information community, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Andrew Allan to represent the University of California Press in Europe. Andrew will take on responsibility for growing UC Press’ journals and digital content business in the UK and in western and southern Europe, and for providing personal service to the ever-increasing list of UC Press customers in these regions.

Andrew joins PCG from Emerald Group Publishing, where he was responsible for sales and account management in the Latin American and Caribbean regions. He speaks four languages and has considerable experience working with libraries and selling English language publications in overseas markets, including previous roles at Nelson Thornes and Macmillan-Heinemann ELT.
